I'm an amature photographer seeking to find -through my camera's lenses- beauty that I can't see with my eyes.
I'm a perfectionist with a twisted sense of logic that never fails to raise eyebrows.
I exist in this virtual web world, yet I am very much alive and real.
This is not another 3 page long, boring, technical article about operating systems and their features and all that mambo jumbo boring stuff...
after all ... we all know Windows sucks, OXS is for fancy people and Linux is for hardcore geeks ...
this is about one big major difference between those 3 major operating systems that everybody seems to discard ... the software NAMES !!!
have you ever noticed how all Windows-based softwares have long complex names like: "Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003" or "Nero Burning ROM" or "Norton Internet Security 2006", etc ..
compare that to OSX-based softwares: "iWork", "iLife", "iTunes", "iChat", etc ...
nice, short, meaningful names eh ?
and then comes the monster ... Linux:
I'll be damned if i could even guess what a linux application does just by looking at it's name ... its easy to do with Windows apps, even easier in OSX apps ... but Linux apps ... FORGET IT !
here are some examples:
those examples are not even hardcore stuff ... just simple everyday usage apps...
I'm not gonna tell you what each are .. try to take a wild guess first.
hell, I'll even bet you $20 that you will never guess what they are, not even close (don't cheat)
